Dustin Russell, DVM
Dr. Russell originally hails from the bluegrass state, but has found his calling in Northwest Florida. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Kentucky and then graduated from Mississippi State College of Veterinary Medicine. His professional interests are surgery, dentistry, general small animal medicine and exotic pet care. Dr. Russell is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association. Some of his hobbies and interests include carpentry, kayaking, aquaria, camping, traveling, and beach activities.
Charlie Matyi, DVM
Dr. Matyi is a graduate from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine. His professional interests are surgery and emergency medicine. Charlie is an avid beach goer, kayaker and he loves to travel the globe.
Savannah Matthews, DVM
Dr. Matthews is a graduate from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Her professional interests include feline and internal medicine. She has two cats, Mo and Smudge, and a kingsnake named Bernie. Her hobbies include roller skating, reading, listening to live music, and anything that involves the outdoors.
Molly – Practice Manager / Certified Veterinary Technician
Molly is a graduate of Pensacola State College’s veterinary technology program. She passed her VTNE test to get certified in July of 2017. She has 4 brothers and 4 sisters and has lived here in Pensacola all of her life. She married into a house of 2 adorable dogs, Rocco and Roscoe, in October of 2018. Along with her 2 dogs, she rescued a FIV positive cat named “Tom Petty”. In her spare time, she enjoys throwing board game nights with her friends, trivia nights downtown, and watching movies with her purrrfect pets and husband.
Blythe – Certified Veterinary Technician
Blythe has lived in and around the Pensacola area for most of her life. Growing up she knew working with animals was what she was meant to do, though she didn’t originally pursue that career, she ended up in the right place. She graduated the Pensacola State College veterinary technology program in May of 2017 and became certified in July the same year. Her hobbies include: playing video and board games, camping, hiking, socializing with friends, and snoozing with her three dogs Xena, Charlotte, and Ahmanet.

Matthew – Veterinary Nurse
Matt was born and raised in Milton. Before joining us in July of 2019, he worked as a Correctional Officer. He hopes to get into the vet tech program at PSC and eventually become a Certified Veterinary Technician. He grew up with all sorts of animals, but currently has adopted 3 dogs and 6 cats! In his spare time he loves playing video games, watching anime, and snuggling up with all of his four legged kids.
Constance – Veterinary Nurse
Constance was born in Kingsport, Tennessee, but was raised in the Appalachian Mountains in southwest Virginia. She is the guardian of 3 dogs: Sherlock, Samson, and Cerberus and one bearded dragon, Pedro. In her free time, Constance likes to read, watch horror movies, and spend time with all her pets, especially Sherlock. She has been in the veterinary field for 17 years, her motivation is her love for every aspect of it.
Kaitlyn – Veterinary Nurse
Kaitlyn is an Alabama girl. She was born in Foley, and raised in Loxley. While she has only been in this field for a year, she has learned a lot in a very short time. She became a veterinary technician not only because she has a deep love for animals, but also so that she can speak for those that can’t speak for themselves. She is a very hard working momma. She has a 2 year old child, 2 pups, a cat, and a beta fish. Her favorite ways to relax are hanging out by the water, watching corny love movies, and hanging out with her kiddo.
Miranda- Lead Client Care Coordinator
Miranda has been in Pensacola for most of her life as she was born and raised here. She has 3 lovable pups named Ellie, Maverick, and Phoenix along with a ball python named Sunny. When she’s not working hard here, she is soaking up sun at the beach, hanging out with her pups, or traveling with her hubby in golf tournaments. She has been in this field for 10 years. She is truly a pet advocate and enjoys educating owners on pet care.

Katie – Pet Resort Attendant
Katie was born in Oak Harbor Washington, but raised in San Antonio. She joined our team in September of 2020. She got into this field so that she can help make our furry friends healthy, happy, and smiling. She has 3 pets of her own (2 basset hounds named Boomer and Bennie, and 1 cat named Butter) In her free time she enjoys playing video games, watching spooky movies, and hanging out with her 3 favorite animals.
Nicole- Pet Resort Attendant
Nicole moved to Pensacola in 2020 from Iowa. She is mom to her golden retriever named Cora, pit bull named Captain, and bearded dragon named Drax. She has always had a fascination and love for animals and wanted to be in a career that made her surrounded by them. When she is not working in our boarding facility, she is either going on hikes, or taking naps with her pups. She has been in this field for about 4 years now and has loved every bit of it.
Skylar- Pet Stylist
Sky went through Petco’s grooming school and graduated with her certification in 2019. Sky was born and raised in Washington. She and her boyfriend moved to Pensacola at the beginning of April 2021. Sky has always had a calling to work with animals. She has 2 dogs, a ball python, and 2 horses of her own. She started off working in a kennel facility and decided to switch to the grooming business. She wanted to combine her love of art with her love of pets. She takes pride in her styling and especially loves grooming creative haircuts like mullets or pants. In her spare time she loves riding horses, painting, reading, hiking, and sleeping.
Rezz – The Clinic Cat, Future POTUS
Rezz joined the crew in November of 2018. She is unlike any cat you will ever meet. Her hobbies include napping in strange places for 12 hours, watching and playing cat tv, managing the clinic, and asking for more food. She plans on one day taking over the whole world. She has never met a stranger and will greet you in the lobby with licks, purrs, and tail wags.
